There is so much to see and do, but mostly we just tried to enjoy the experience. We really learned a good deal about the history of Venice today! We started with a visit to Doge's Palace!
An absolutely amazing place, with as much art on the ceiling as on the walls. We were there over 2 hours and just really touched the surface.
Then we stopped for coffee!
We found a very quiet spot and rested a bit!
Then went for lunch and some gelato!
And finished up the day at a play on the history of Venice!
